"What does it cost?"
"What will it look like in my yard?"
These are perhaps the things most prominent on the mind of your prospective client.
The Eco-Pure Peat Moss Biofilter was designed based a few basic concepts:
- Cost
- Design flexibility
- Small footprint
- Reliable passive treatment
- Ease of installation
- Operational costs
- Ease of maintenance
- Cost of maintenance
- Appearance in yardDeveloped for use on Sanibel-Captiva Islands, Florida the Eco-Pure Peat Moss Biofilter has provided safe, worry free wastewater treatment in the most sensitive environments and for the most demanding customers since 1998. We have years of real world experience and testing data demonstrating the systems exceptional treatment capabilities.
Each Eco-Pure Peat Moss Biofilter is capable of treating the wastewater from up to a four bedroom home with peak maximum daily flows of 650 gallons per day. Modules can be piped together for additional hydraulic capacity. Special consideration and design elements will be necessary for high-strength waste such as that from a restaurant.
Performance data shows that properly installed, operated and maintained the Eco-Pure Peat Moss Biofilter will exceed these effluent standards:
| Parameter |
Annual Average |

= or < 10 mg/L |

Needless to say, the performance of any treatment system depends on the behavior of the wastewater generator. The Eco-Pure Peat Moss Biofilter is a very "forgiving" system that does not easily malfunction. Although we cannot control how the system is used, we do work very hard training our system installers and maintenance companies. We have years of job site experience and seek to earn your trust.
Our system is great for intermittent use applications such as vacation homes, churches, office suites, campgrounds, etc.. The naturally organisms within the sphagnum peat moss do not require flow attenuation and can remain active for many months without a wastewater stream.
